Paso is not just about wine anymore. More than a dozen artisan distilleries have popped up throughout the region – and many are helmed by winemakers. Here are a few must-visits on Paso’s Distillery Trail.
Calwise Sprits – Big Sur Gin, crafted in honor the neighboring scenic coastline and distilled with wild native herbs. Numerous best of show and gold medals adorn this release.
KROBAR – Rye Whiskey, “Best of Class California”- Distilled Spirits Competition, distilled in a closed steam system using low water and minimal energy before resting in American oak barrels for 4.5 years. A crowd favorite!
Re:Find - Vodka, crafted from premium California wine-grapes that are grown, fermented, distilled, and bottled unfiltered in Paso Robles' wine country. A choice alternative for the region’s locally grown grapes.
Pendray’s – A must stop for its impressive portfolio of Port Barrel Aged Brandy's and Grappa's along with a few seasonal fruit-based Liqueurs.
