On June 23, More Than 30 Makers Set to Sample Wines and Goods
June 14, 2022 (Paso Robles, Calif.) — The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance, in conjunction with Travel Paso, will bring the Paso Robles Wine Country experience to San Diego on Thursday, June 23. More than 30 wineries and the makers behind crafted foods and products will be sampling at JULEP Venue, at the base of Mission Hills in San Diego. An early afternoon trade event is open to members of the wine industry, while the evening tasting event is for wine lovers to sip and sample the flavors of Paso Robles Wine Country. The Paso Robles Tasting Tour event begins at 1 p.m. with a seated class and tasting for the wine trade and media, followed by a walk-around style tasting exclusive to the trade and media. More than 30 wineries will be in attendance to sample their wines; some wineries have San Diego distribution, while others are looking to expand into the San Diego market. The wine trade and media is encouraged to register to attend with this link (qualified trade and media will be approved to attend).
Paso Wine Fans and lovers of great wine are invited to enjoy an early evening tasting of Paso Robles wines and tourism showcase at JULEP venue on Thursday, June 23 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. In addition to the 150+ wines from 32 winery producers, Travel Paso is creating a destination showcase with hospitality partners and will include Paso-based goods like olive oil, honey, spirits, and more. Local food trucks will be onsite selling wine-friendly fare at this spacious venue that pairs views of San Diego with the delicious wines of Paso Robles.
Now with direct flights from San Diego International Airport (SAN) to San Luis Obispo County Airport (SBP), San Diegans can enjoy a Paso Robles wine country experience without traffic.
