California Mid-State Fair

The California Mid-State Fair returns to Paso Robles July 21 - August 1, 2021! Known by many as the “Biggest Little Fair Anywhere,” the fair has grown in both size and popularity since its opening back in 1946. This exciting annual event was designed specifically for family-friendly fun, boasting 12 days of live music, carnival games, exhibits, local vendors, farm animals, arts and crafts. Come one come all, whether you’re in it for the food, the petting zoo, the ferris wheel, or the live music - you won’t want to miss the event of the year.

The Children’s Museum at the Volunteer Firehouse believes that learning is best done through playing. Celebrating their 10th year of play, the museum offers family focused fun and educational activities for all. Interactive exhibits encourage young children to explore a creative atmosphere while picking up real life skills. Discover the shopping market, theatre, pizza kitchen, firestation, and creative corner. Concerts in the Park

Concerts in the Park are back for their 20th anniversary season in downtown Paso Robles. The Paso Robles REC Foundation in partnership with Paso Robles Recreation Services, J. Lohr Vineyards and Wines and Firestone Walker Brewing Company welcomes back its fans with a fresh summer lineup. Stop by Thursdays from 6-8 pm for live music on the Downtown City Park lawn where you’ll hear everything from country to 60’s rock n’ roll. Food and beverages are allowed, so pack a picnic and your family for a wonderful evening of good music and good times.

Studios on the Park

This non-profit, open-studio art center is your family art destination in Paso Robles. Here in the heart of historic downtown, the community meets creativity at Studios on the Park. Whether you are the art-lover or artist in the family, Studios on the Park has something for everyone. For the art lovers, there are exhibitions, events and local artists. For the little artist in your family there are a long list of engaging classes, workshops and children’s programs where you can all release your inner Picaso.
