As wedding season approaches, be sure to take some time out with the besties for the bachelorette celebration! Planning a weekend – or week-long – getaway before a wedding provides some much-needed bonding and relaxation time for everyone, and Paso Robles is the perfect place to do so. Here, we explore the best options for bachelorette celebrations of all sizes.

Where to Stay

Farmhouse Paso

Paso Robles has a range of accommodations, from large and opulent to smaller and more rustic. For an all-in-one experience, Allegretto Vineyard Resort is a great choice, particularly for larger bachelorette parties. With an on-site restaurant and spa, Allegretto has something for everyone. Allegretto provides luxurious relaxation after a long day of wine tasting with massages, facials, and cocktails at the bar.

Staying right in the thick of the action definitely has its perks, and Hotel Cheval proves it! This luxe boutique hotel is right off the main square in downtown Paso Robles with plenty of tasting rooms, shops, and restaurants within very short walking distance. With only 16 rooms, Hotel Cheval provides an intimate atmosphere with fireplaces and sun decks for you and your entourage to gather around. Hotel Cheval strikes the perfect balance by being intimate while still being in the heart of it all.

For a retro vibe, Farmhouse Paso Robles is a must! Originally built in 1947, Farmhouse embraces midcentury modern with plenty of new century modern updates. Grab the gang and borrow Farmhouse’s Linus bicycles to cruise around town with style for a vintage bachelorette experience. Hangout around the courtyard firepits to recount the bachelorette exploits of the day. And if your besties are furry? Not a problem – Farmhouse welcomes well behaved dogs and has plenty of pet perks too!

If the gang would rather a more DYI experience, Sun Outdoors Paso Robles is the place to be. Park your RVs next to each other for a stress-free bachelorette weekend. Sun Outdoors has all the amenities you could ever want while you still have the comfort and privacy of your personal RV. And, if anyone in the group doesn’t have an RV, Sun Outdoors has cottages and villas to rent on-site as well. It’s a great way to bring families if your bachelorette is more of the rated PG variety.

Restaurants

Justin

Paso Robles has a fabulous variety of eateries for bachelorette celebrations! Although not a traditional restaurant, Tin City in Paso Robles is a one-stop tasting extravaganza, perfect for bachelorette parties of all sizes. With dozens of tasting rooms for wineries, breweries, cideries, distilleries, and restaurants, Tin City provides the opportunity to either select a specific, detailed itinerary or to divide and conquer.

To best fuel up before an action-packed day ahead, Brunch Paso has the tastiest options around. Be sure to make reservations in advance because space is limited but it’s oh-so-worth it. Biscuits and gravy, street tacos, and eggs benedict provide a very Paso spin on a bachelorette’s favorite meal alongside alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Bachelorettes who want to ensure their culinary chakras are aligned will definitely want to hit The Alchemists’ Garden for casual-creative dinner or drinks. With zodiac-based cocktails of the month, The Alchemists’ Garden is a haven for dreamers and the affirmations they bring. Bachelorettes with good vibes prevail!

For a smaller celebration among fellow foodies, Somm’s Kitchen provides an unforgettable experience. Chef-Sommelier Ian Adamo curates multicourse dinners with wine pairings around seasonal ingredients. It’s a must for sophisticated palates!  Be sure to book well in advance because seats are limited to 16.

Another fantastic option for foodies set in Paso wine country is The Restaurant at JUSTIN. With more space than Somm’s Kitchen, it’s better for larger bachelorette groups – and it’s Michelin-starred! Celebrate the bride-to-be with sweeping views and delectably courses paired with JUSTIN wines.

Wineries

Niner Winery, Heart Hill

The key reason to plan a bachelorette in Paso Robles is for wine country! All of the amazing wineries in the area make for a perfect celebratory getaway. Be sure to make reservations in advance; even larger wineries want to be able to provide premier experiences and larger parties without reservations can overwhelm staff.

Niner Wine Estates is one of the most beautiful properties in the area with absolutely beautiful views and equally gorgeous wines. Reserve tables in advance for an informative and approachable tasting with Niner’s knowledgeable staff.

For a bachelorette picnic, SummerWood is the perfect location! With their award-winning sparkling ‘Asa Awa’ grenache blanc, SummerWood can help you toast the bride-to-be before choosing a bottle to savor on the gorgeous property over lunch. SummerWood’s ethos is grounded in hospitality and memorable experiences, so a bachelorette celebration here is sure to be a stunner.

Make the most of photo ops with a stop at Peachy Canyon! From the historic Old Bethel Schoolhouse to the massive Adirondack chair, there are plenty of great shots to grab here for a bachelorette party! Friendly, on-leash pets are also welcome at this perennial favorite.

Newcomer Ulloa Cellars is one of the most unique winery experiences around and is one that is a must for bachelorette parties! Winemaker Nancy Ulloa “manifests mystical wines into existence” and embodies an ethos we can all use these days. Check out recommended crystal and affirmation pairings for each wine while you’re there.

Activities

Girls Cheers WIth Paso Wine After a Horseback Ride

Of course, there’s so much more to do around Paso Robles than taste wine! The very adventurous bachelorettes should make Margarita Adventures their focal destination during the festivities. About an hour from downtown Paso Robles, Margarita Adventures is well worth the trip, offering ziplining over the stunning Santa Margarita Lake, rugged Hummer Wildlife Tours and more. Accommodation is available as well, making this a great option for a packaged bachelorette weekend.

Open air enthusiasts will love Third Wheel Adventures! Offering a combined transportation and adventure experience, Third Wheel provides open side car rumbles through rugged vineyards between tasting opportunities. It’s a unique way to experience wine country and is so very Paso! Build your own itinerary or let Third Wheel do the work – either way, it’s an unforgettable way to celebrate the bachelorette!

Since Paso Robles is grounded in ranch lands, seeing the area on horseback is about as authentic as it gets. There are a range of opportunities for horseback riding here, from longer group excursions to more individualized wine tasting trips. There are also horse sanctuaries that rescue neglected or abused animals for the animal-loving bachelorettes to visit and support.

Cass Winery is kind of a combination of everything. Part winery, part adventure land, part accommodation, ‘Camp Cass’ is an adults-only day camp with loads of fun things to do. Does the bride-to-be want to master archery? Paint a masterpiece? Become a sommelier? Or simply throw some axes around? Camp Cass can help! Take the bachelorette party to the next level at Camp Cass.

Nightlife

Corey Jordan plays piano in Libretto piano lounge in Paso Robles.

While most wineries close to tastings around 5pm, nightlife in Paso Robles is still humming well into the night! Jazz lounge Libretto has been a wonderful addition with live music and wine set in a cozy, underground lounge. Check out their calendar of events to plan a sophisticated bachelorette evening.

Bachelorette celebrations during summer months can take advantage of the fabulous events at Vina Robles Ampitheatre. Drawing huge names, Vina Robles has an impressive array of concerts starting around April and finishing for the season in the fall. With everything from classic rock to gypsy jazz, Vina Robles is a must for music loving bachelorettes.

Right in downtown Paso Robles, Cane Tiki Room provides a taste of island life for tropically minded bachelorette parties with classic Mai Tais, riffs of rum swizzles, and more. There are also several tasty non-alcoholic options for designated drivers or those just not interested in alcohol. The décor is tasty enough.

Eleven Twenty-Two is a mixologists dream come true. Set in a speakeasy-style lounge, Eleven Twenty-Two can be enjoyed just for its inventive cocktails, or it can be rented out for an entire mixology experience.

Transportation

Breakaway Tours

Since alcohol can be an overarching theme for bachelorette parties in wine country, let’s ensure everyone stays safe! Many wineries offer either transportation or referrals to transportation services. In addition to the more adventurous services mentioned earlier, a local go-to is SLO Safe Ride. Work out the details in advance to make sure everyone arrives safe, healthy, and ready to celebrate the bachelorette on her big day.
