New Poolside Retreat Debuts for Father’s Day weekend with larger Grand Opening Celebration slated for Friday, July 3 with Live Music, Cabanas, and Elevated Dining 

PASO ROBLES, Calif. — Ravine Waterpark is excited to announce the grand opening of The Cove, a brand-new respite and addition to the park designed to bring a fresh level of relaxation, entertainment, and hospitality to California's Central Coast. 

The Cove officially opens today (Friday, June 19th) and showcases an entirely new experience within Ravine Waterpark. The new area features a splashless leisure pool, jacuzzi hot tub, premium cabanas, elevated food and beverage offerings, and a vibrant social atmosphere. As part of Father’s Day celebrations, The Cove will be open for a soft launch to all ages this weekend with limited services and discounted cabana rentals along with free admission for Dads with the purchase of a day pass.

The grand opening celebration will take place on Friday, July 3, featuring live entertainment from local favorite Counterfeit Kings, specialty cocktails, food specials, and extended evening hours. Admission to the grand opening event is free after 6 p.m., with special late-day admission pricing available beginning at 3 p.m.

The launch of The Cove is part of a broader transformation underway at Ravine Waterpark during its 20th Anniversary season. Ravine Summer Sing-Off in Partnership with KJUG Country 

The Ravine Summer Sing-Off brings local talent to center stage during a multi-week singing competition held Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. Presented in partnership with American General Media and KJUG Country, the competition transforms The Cove into a lively entertainment venue where contestants compete for the opportunity to perform at the California Mid-State Fair. 

Each event features: 

  • Local contestants performing live 
  • Audience and guest judges voting to determine who advances 
  • Two contestants are eliminated each week as the competition intensifies • Food and beverages available for purchase throughout the event 
  • A championship finale where the final six contestants compete for a featured performance opportunity at the Silo Bar during the California Mid-State Fair and a grand prize of $1000

Murder Mystery Night--"I Love the 80's to Death"

Guests are invited to step back into the totally tubular world of the 1980s for an interactive evening of mystery, comedy, and nostalgia. Set backstage at a star-studded concert, attendees will work together to solve a crime filled with outrageous characters, shocking secrets, and plenty of neon-fueled fun. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite 80s attire and prepare for a night of mystery, music, and memorable entertainment.

Extended Summer Nights 

Throughout the season, The Cove will host evening entertainment on selected Saturdays, including live music performances, DJs, specialty events, and themed celebrations designed to create a unique nightlife experience in Paso Robles.
