Wine Business Monthly

Paso Robles, Calif. (November 13, 2025) - Paso Robles is raising a glass to two of its own this week as Wine Business Monthly unveiled its annual list of Wine Industry Leaders of 2025, honoring those shaping the future of the wine world. Among this year’s distinguished recipients are McPrice “Mac” Myers, Founder and Winemaker of McPrice Myers Wines, and Maggie Tillman, Owner and Director of Sales and Marketing at Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery.

Each year, the editorial team at Wine Business Monthly spends countless hours evaluating what it truly means to lead in this ever-evolving industry. Their selection process looks beyond titles or success metrics and focuses on the people who drive progress, inspire others, and bring hope to an industry that continues to navigate significant change. The 2025 list honors those who have gone above and beyond: innovators who challenge conventions, strengthen their communities, and push the entire wine world forward.

Myers and Tillman were both recognized in the Culture Shifters & Energizers category, which honors individuals who are reigniting excitement within the wine industry. For years, the trade has called for wine to feel fresh and relevant again, and this group of leaders has delivered. They are the spark behind new festivals, imaginative collaborations, and accessible yet high-quality wines that connect with both new audiences and lifelong wine lovers.

“This recognition reflects the incredible spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines Paso Robles,” said Stacie Jacob, Founder and Chief Strategist of Solterra Strategies. “We’re proud to see our community represented among the very best in the business.”

McPrice “Mac” Myers has built his reputation on authenticity, hard work, and a deep respect for the land. A self-taught winemaker with an intuitive understanding of Paso Robles’ diverse soils and microclimates, Myers has crafted a portfolio that captures both the power and nuance of Rhône varieties. His wines range from approachable blends to limited-production single-vineyard expressions, each reflecting a winemaking philosophy rooted in transparency, integrity, and place.

Beyond his work in the cellar, Myers has become a respected voice and advocate for Paso Robles as a leading Rhône region. He is known for his collaborative spirit, working alongside fellow winemakers and across AVAs to elevate the region’s reputation on the global stage. His dedication to sustainability, mentorship, and community engagement has made him not only a skilled craftsman but also a leader who continues to shape the future of Paso Robles wine.

Maggie Tillman brings a dynamic and forward-thinking approach to her role at Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery, where she leads direct-to-consumer and marketing efforts with equal parts creativity and strategy. Her inventive campaigns have helped define Alta Colina’s brand voice, blending authenticity with a modern, engaging edge. From imaginative social media storytelling that connects with audiences in unexpected ways to playful educational content that highlights the character of the estate, Tillman continues to push boundaries while staying true to the winery’s roots.

Under Maggie’s leadership, Alta Colina has evolved into one of Paso Robles’ most respected, family-run estate wineries, known not only for its sustainably farmed Rhône varietals but also for the genuine hospitality that defines every guest experience. Building on the legacy established by her parents, Bob and Lynn Tillman, Maggie has championed initiatives that invite visitors to connect more deeply with the land, from immersive tastings in the vineyard to the creation of The Trailer Pond, a beloved glamping destination set among the vines. Her vision balances tradition and innovation, ensuring Alta Colina remains both rooted in its hillside terroir and boldly future-focused.

The inclusion of Myers and Tillman in the 2025 Wine Industry Leaders list highlights Paso Robles’ growing influence on the global wine stage, where passion, creativity, and authenticity continue to thrive. Congratulations also go to Molly Lonborg, Winemaker at Booker Vineyard, who was honored alongside Myers and Tillman for her contributions to the Paso Robles winemaking community.
