Hambly Lavender Farm Announces 2026 Season, Including U-Pick, Sunset Evenings, and Private Group Experiences
SAN MIGUEL, CA — March 31, 2026 — Lavender season returns to the rolling hills north of Paso Robles as Hambly Lavender Farm announces its 2026 visiting schedule, open May 10 (Mother’s Day weekend) through September 7.
The family-run farm welcomes visitors each summer to wander blooming lavender fields, harvest their own bouquet, and enjoy a slower pace.
New for 2026 are golden-hour Sunset on the Farm evenings and private group experiences designed for celebrations and wine country weekends.
Located just minutes from Paso Robles wineries, Hambly Lavender Farm has become a favorite Central Coast stop for visitors seeking scenic lavender fields, fresh air, and relaxed farm experiences.
"People come here to slow down,” said farm owner Gina Hambly. “Lavender has a calming effect — it can change the pace of a moment, and spending time in the fields is something guests really remember.”
Lavender U-Pick (Signature Farm Experience)
The farm’s most popular experience is Lavender U-Pick, where visitors harvest their own bouquet directly from the fields.
Guests can wander the rows, meet farm animals, relax at picnic areas, and visit the seasonal farm store.

NEW: Sunset on the Farm
One of the farm’s most anticipated new experiences for 2026 is Sunset on the Farm — relaxed evening gatherings in the lavender fields.
Guests are invited to wander the rows during golden hour, bring a picnic, and enjoy wines from rotating Paso Robles winery partners while mellow music plays.

The farm’s scenic lavender rows and vineyard views create a beautiful setting for:

Private experiences are designed for groups of 10–25 guests.
Guests can wander lavender rows, harvest bouquets, and meet the animals. Three private experience options are available:

Lavender Picnic Experience
A styled lavender picnic with charcuterie or catered lunch boxes.

Lavender Field Celebration
A fully hosted celebration with a private farm tour and guided activity such as painting, yoga, or a lavender craft workshop.

Optional add-ons include Paso Robles wine tasting partners, professional photography sessions, custom lavender favors, and upgraded picnic menus.
Guided Farm Experiences
Visitors interested in learning about lavender farming can join farmer Milton Hambly for a relaxed one-hour walk through the working farm.
Guests learn how lavender is grown, harvested, distilled, and crafted into essential oils and products.
