Paso Robles’ leading tourism marketing organization will award more than $136,000 in support of 32 community events to enhance the Paso Robles experience for visitors and locals alike.
January 31, 2024 (Paso Robles, Calif.) — Travel Paso is proud to announce the receipt of another record number of Community Event Marketing applicants during the 2024 application period which closed in early November. Together, the Travel Paso Board of Directors and Marketing Committee has reviewed and selected 32 organizations to receive in-kind marketing support. Of these 32 applicants, 18 will also receive grant funding with their sponsorship promotion. Under the program, $136.5 thousand in grants was awarded to organizations that align with Travel Paso’s mission and have the potential to make a significant impact on tourism growth in Paso Robles.
The 2024 Community Event Grant will support community events beginning in January 2024 and continuing through December 2024. This program enables Travel Paso to identify and support events, activities and organizations that align with its mission to brand, market and promote Paso Robles as the authentic destination of choice.
Grant recipients include Estrella Warbirds Museum, REC Foundation, Studios on the Park, Garagiste Events Inc., The Rhone Rangers, Paso Robles CAB Collective, The Paderewski Festival, Vina Robles Amphitheatre, Castoro Cellars, San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, FARMstead ED/SLO Co Farm Trail, At Her Table, The Bovine Classic, AIDS/LifeCycle, Paso Robles Distillery Trail, Templeton Tennis Ranch, Paso Robles Horse Park Foundation, Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association.
Travel Paso recognizes that forging community partnerships with local cultural, social and recreational organizations can make significant contributions to the overall quality of life in Paso Robles as well as the ability to market the destination and enhance visitation throughout the year. Accordingly, a portion of the annual marketing budget is allocated to the Community Event Marketing Program.
