Two of the best kept secrets of Paso Robles are the Windrose Farm Heirloom Tomato Festival & Dinner
Come for the traditional Heirloom Tomato Tasting of over 30 varieties, stay for the local chefs and purveyors that will be preparing bites of their favorite recipes using Windrose Farm tomatoes and tasty produce. The Farm Stand will be open and Vendors will be selling much of the flavorful fare you will be grazing on throughout the afternoon.

A place of spiritual connection to the earth and all it provides at the nurturing hands of Barbara & Bill Spencer and their crew. For over 25 years, this special place has produced many heirloom crops offered to the best of the best restaurants and has been welcoming inquisitive and intriguing people seeking the magic this farm grows.

Long before Farm to Table was a sought after lifestyle, Bill & Barbara have been bringing the table to the farm. Leading by example, these passionate land stewards have pioneered & farmed some of the most tasty specialty crops in the region. Young farmers and chefs have sought out the coveted internships the Spencer’s have offered over the years to learn their practices and practice their learnings.
A Very Special Place:
Windrose Farm, the headliner and star of this very special TOMATO dinner, will be front and center in this year’s spot light. The Spencer’s and their family of friends invite you to join them in the celebration of the bounty this agricultural oasis, and our region, have to offer. This all-inclusive five course pairing dinner will truly be a unique experience you will savor as produce is harvested the same day it is prepared for you to delight in; a memory in the making for your all your senses.
Windrose Farm is celebrating more than 25 years of farming and living on this generous land and honoring the bounty it produces. Windrose Farm is joined by these fine Chefs:

All of whom will be collaborating and preparing a five course meal featuring Windrose Farm fruits, veggies and lamb, as well as produce and pairings from nearby purveyors and friends.

Windrose Farm is a small family farm located east of Paso Robles, near Creston, in San Luis Obispo County. Owners Bill & Barbara Spencer have been farming organic since 1990 and currently follow biodynamic farming practices.
In addition to heirloom tomatoes, Windrose Farm grows potatoes, onions, garlic, green and dry beans, peppers, eggplant, winter squash, carrots, turnips, beets, cucumbers, melons and many varieties of greens. They also have the apples and stone fruit. Their little valley is a unique micro-climate that is good for the diverse crops of lilacs, apples, super-sweet onions and melons.
