FARMstead ED presents Pop-up Paso: Orange County

FARMstead ED presents

Pop-up Paso: Orange County

August 4, 2017 (Paso Robles, CA) -- So many in Orange County go to Paso Robles Wine Country for tasting, so we thought we’d put a spin on it, bringing Paso to you!  Join us as we bring together our longtime friends from FARMstead ED, their partners & pals from Paso, with us here at the Wine Lab for this unique Food & Wine Pairing event.

“Pop-up Paso has been created to promote the amazing bounty of small producers from farms, ranches, vineyards and our local community of fine food purveyors.   These folks from the Paso Robles area so thoughtfully and creatively grow, nurture & make real honest food for our pleasure, and our health!  We are excited to share the Paso-bilities with folks by demonstrating a sampling of what Paso Robles has to offer via these pop-up events.”     ~ Lynette Sonne, Founder of FARMstead ED & Pop-up Paso

Get Your Foodie on and Find Your Taste at this unique pop-up event being held at the Wine Lab, located at The Camp in Costa Mesa.  Savory and sweet bites will be created with fresh Paso Robles groceries, and paired with Circle B Vineyards, Ranchero Cellars and Vines on the Marycrest, three of Paso’s finest who specialize in creating signature line-ups of unique varietals that compliment all foodie cravings & cuisines.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience Paso Robles area purveyors such as The Groves on 41, Templeton Hills Beef, YES Cocktail Co., Leo Leo Gelato, Central Coast Creamery, J&R Natural Meats, Talley Farms, Windrose Farm and more, who will be collaborating and presenting Paso’s locally grown. Guests will graze & sip from the multiple pairing stations set-up throughout the Wine Lab, learning about the wine varietals and the bites that have been paired with them.  Whether it’s savoring our locally raised beef, enjoying the freshest of produce and olive oils, the twist of ingredients included in our gelato, or the creaminess of cheeses and other local fare, you will Find Your Taste with these sumptuous flavors paired with Vines on the Marycrest, Ranchero Cellars and Circle B wines. The Paso-bilities are Endless!

Once you Find Your Taste, our Pop-up Paso Marketplace will be offering products for purchase so you can take home a little Paso with you!

FARMstead ED: Bringing folks together with locally grown via Ag Ed experiences, events and gatherings. FARMstead ED’s goal is to promote San Luis Obispo County FARMsteading skills and practices through educational experiences, events & gatherings at pop-up classrooms held at local farms, ranches and other agricultural related venues. The charm and intrigue comes from the opportunity for people to truly experience locally grown and made through a variety of different hands-on classes and events all over the county. FARMstead ED also has a mobile mercantile at each event that is stocked with items found within the teachings, including all the materials needed to DIY back at one’s own FARMstead.  FARMstead ED continues to host unique “on the farm” events throughout the summer via our “Celebrate Summer” activities. We believe in celebrating our locally grown and locally made products.
