We Would Olive You to Join Us on August 16th!

Come on out to the downtown Paso Robles City Park for the 11th annual Paso Robles Olive Festival on August 16, 2014!

Every year, the Olive Festival comes to town and entices visitors with samples, vendors, demonstrations and an olive dish-cooking contest. You can even take a stroll through Culinary Row to taste the local, artisanal, farm-fresh food.

Try not to float away with excitement

With something fun for everyone, why not bring the whole family? Freckles the Clown will be there to keep the kids laughing all day, and the little ones will be able to enjoy fun activities like Native American sand painting, olive branch wreath-making, bag decorating with jewels, guessing the number of olives in a jar, and more.

Sample and savor the goodness

The event will be jam-packed with olive fun for the adults too: from olive oil tasting to art galleries, the excitement will keep you busy all day long. There will be wine and beer tasting, olive tasting, a head-to-head chef competition as well as a cooking contest, recipes and gourmet food vendors. Not to mention the beautiful downtown park itself!

Why not try them all?

Of course, the best part about the Olive Festival is the food, and this Paso festival is never short on tasty culinary options. You will find delicious dishes like ratatouille with lamb, olive stuffed chicken with almonds, incredible muffuletta sandwiches and even olive oil ice cream! Yep, that’s right, ice cream. Olive oils come in all different flavors, including chocolate and strawberry, making olive oil ice cream a dish you just can’t miss.

So come join olive producers from all over California and dive into the delightful world of olives at the Paso Robles Olive Festival.  Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 16, 2014 and be there at 10 a.m. to enjoy olive the goodness!
