Paso Robles Celebrates Independence with Food, Wine, Music and Family Fun
Planning a trip to Paso Robles around the Fourth of July? Purchase your presale tickets by June 29 for the annual Paso Pops Independence Day celebration, a popular event that celebrates the stars and stripes. The event will take place Saturday, July 1, at the Paso Robles Horse Park. Festivities begin at 4 p.m.
Paso Pops, sponsored by the Paderewski Festival, features great food, wine, fireworks, live music and family fun for everyone. This year, 40 local wineries will entice adults to discover the wines of Paso on a two-hour walk-around wine tasting, while kids can enjoy a petting zoo and hands-on arts activities. Pack a picnic to enjoy, or try some delicious bites from local food vendors and trucks.
The San Luis Obispo Symphony will perform a 90-minute concert of patriotic classics alongside members of the Youth Symphony, which will end with a grand fireworks display. There will also be a Military Honor Guard presentation to salute the men and women who serve in uniform. The event will be emcee’d by Travel Paso Maverick, Casey Biggs.
This year’s festival proceeds will support Paso’s local arts community, and will be shared among various organizations offering youth art programs in the region.
There is plenty more summer fun to explore in Paso, from shopping to golf to outdoor adventures – so be sure to stay in town for a few days after the Paso Pops festival. Book your stay now!
