Light Up Downtown Paso Robles

Let Paso Robles be the first to illuminate this holiday season for you. This Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, downtown City Park will host the 28th annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. After you’ve spent Thanksgiving relaxing with family, come on out to City Park and officially kick-off the Christmas season.

Mrs. Claus will take some time off from her busy South Pole schedule to light the town with holiday cheer. She will be the one flipping the switch to light the shop windows and Paso buildings all at once, and the Cancer Support community will be lighting the downtown City Park Trees.

Attendees are invited to take a candle and songbook and sing along to some caroling to really get into the holiday spirit. Dress warmly and bring the whole family. The kids will love the singing and Christmas characters in attendance.

Admission is free; all you need is your warm clothes and festive spirit. Mrs. Claus and other Christmas characters will gather at the bandstand at 5:30 p.m. and just before 6 p.m. the candles and song books will be distributed. Once the clock strikes 6 p.m., Mrs. Claus will flip the switch and Paso will be lit up right before your eyes. Free cookies and hot chocolate will conclude the night’s events.
