Fresh, fun, and innovative - Artisan

The next restaurant participating in January's Restaurant Month is Artisan.  Head Chef Chris Kobayshi co-owns the beautiful bistro with his wife, Shandy Kobayashi, along with his brother and his wife, Michael Kobayashi and Tina Soto.

Chef Kobayashi prides himself on creating elegant, delicious dishes that highlight all of the beautiful produce available here on the Central Coast.  Chris can frequently be seen every Saturday morning at the Templeton (Paso's friendly neighbor to the south) farmer's market, finding the produce that will be used in his dishes for the week. 

For restaurant month, Chef Kobayashi assembled a menu filled with local favorites, such as their Hearst Ranch flat-iron, and their locally famous (and highly demanded) Scharffen Berger chocolate brownies.  In addition to their $30 Restaurant Month menu, Chef Kobayashi will also be creating different $38 prix fixe menus every week for Artisan's Monday Night Suppers.  Each menu will highlight a different local farm or ranch, as well as a different Paso Robles winery.
