Experience a post-holiday winter adventure in Paso Robles!

January morning in Paso While the rest of the country is left shoveling their walks
and scraping ice off their windshields, the winter weather has yet to arrive
here in Paso Robles.  In fact, January yields some truly gorgeous weather
here on the central coast, creating the perfect "winter wonderland" setting for
you to experience everything that Paso has to offer.

Bundle up and enjoy the crisp, fall-like weather under the bright, clear
California skies while taking a stroll through our historic Paso Robles Park,
right at the heart of the downtown area.  If you need a snack, you can
visit one of Paso Robles's many gourmet and specialty food shops or bakeries
located in the downtown area.  These
shops feature some of the best locally produced cheeses, olives, olive oils,
breads and the many other fresh and delicious food products our local farmers and
businesses produce .

You can munch on your snacks in the charming park gazebo, or, better yet, take
it to go to your favorite winery! Most of the nearly 200
wineries
here offer beautiful picnic areas and some have grills for guests
to use during their visit.  No matter which winery you choose to visit,
Paso's beautiful rolling hills and elegant, vine-covered stretches of land
provide the perfect backdrop for your picnic lunch.

Speaking of those sloping hills, for the more athletically inclined, now is also
the perfect time of year to head out and enjoy one of Paso Robles' hundreds of
beautiful bike trails.  Paso Robles is equally bike-crazy as it is
horse-crazy, so regardless of what your preferred mode of travel may be, Paso
Robles is the ideal place to come for an outdoor winter adventure.

ways for you to get cozy.   Many of the Paso Robles wineries create
perfect winter hideaways in their tasting rooms by providing comfy couches and
roaring fires so guests can snuggle up and get warm with a glass of lovingly
crafted Paso Robles wine.

After all of that picnicking, cycling, and wine tasting, you
can get some much needed rest at one of the beautiful Paso Robles hotels or bed
and breakfasts.  Many hotels are offering
reduced rates and discounts throughout the month of January, making now the
perfect time for you to experience your own post-holiday getaway here in
Paso Robles.
