Cruise Through Paso this Labor Day Weekend

Cruise on down to Paso this weekend and check out the incredible array of classic cars! Classic Car Weekend is upon us, and you’ll be able to check out hundreds of pre-1979 classic beauties to your heart’s content. Don’t miss this old-fashioned event where over 300 cars are expected!

Sleek and shiny

The fun all starts on Friday evening, Aug. 29, with a cruise down Spring Street. After the drivers have polished their pickups and geared up their rides, the classic cars will hit the pavement at 6 p.m. to show off their curvy figures. Onlookers are encouraged to set up their lawn chairs along the road to enjoy the spectacle of cars sailing by. There will be so many cars to see, the cruise will last until 8 p.m.

This sure won’t be a drag!

Day two of the Classics Weekend features a car show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and these cars are sure to “wow” you! The show will happen in Downtown City Park in Paso Robles and will also only feature cars 1979 and older. All cars must be finished, licensed and insured to take part, so you won’t see any beaters here. Whether you want to see Chevelles, Mustangs or Model-T’s, they will all be here on display.

There’s more to see than just the cars!

Visitors and locals are invited to tour the sites and all that Paso has to offer on Sunday, tying up the perfect Labor Day weekend. People can wine taste, cruise the back roads, sample some of the great cuisine, or check out the amazing art galleries. Whatever you choose, Paso has something fun for everyone in the family. The young ones can go to the Ravine Waterpark in the warm August heat, or the more grown up folks could get a rush from the zip lines at Margarita Adventures followed up by some wine tasting at Ancient Peaks Winery

Come check ‘em out.

Whatever you decide to get into this Labor Day Weekend, don’t miss out on the Paso Experience after you’ve finished oohing and awing at the cool cars. Spend the weekend cruising through Paso!
